The Old Bake and Brewhouse is 4 Star ETC rated, sleeps 4 in two rooms plus cot. Situated in the midst of the Peak District National Park, near Taddington midway between the old market town of Bakewell and the Spa town of Buxton. Tariff - Bed and Breakfast Sharing - 2 nights or more £28.00pppn (i.e £56) Single - 2 nights or more £35.00. More Information The Old Bake and Brewhouse is part of Blackwell Hall farmhouse, here they used to brew the Ale for the farmer and his family and staff, bake the bread and make the traditional Derbyshire Oatcakes, (we still serve them with the Derbyshire Breakfasts). Bed and Breakfast visitors are welcome to this beautiful area and although we have a busy life,  we aim to make your stay peaceful and relaxing. Accommodation The accommodation offered is exclusively for the use of guests. It has a roomy and comfortably furnished dining conservatory looking over the garden. The lounge has a wood-burner and the period atmosphere is enhanced with antiques. There is a colour TV etc. Stairs lead to 2 bedrooms sleeping 4 people. One double bedroom has its own bath/shower room and a separate toilet and there is a twin bedded room with en suite shower and toilet. Both rooms have washbasins, colour TV, tea and coffee making equipment etc. Rooms are available after 3 pm on day of arrival. We ask you to vacate your room by 10.15am on leaving. There is adequate guests car parking space and guests have their own entrance.    Local attractions Attractions and great days out for all the family to enjoy in and around the village of Great Longstone. From beautiful and very grand stately homes- Chatsworth Houseis just a five minute drive - to donkey sanctuaries, stone henges, delightful dales, splendid estates, theme parks, ancient caverns and caves, fabulous farm shopsand more. The Peak District offers something special for everyone from great Derbyshire pubs to visit, beautiful and historic Derbyshire churchesand of course the ancient tradition of Well Dresings.
