Manor House Farm
Manor House Farm is a 170 acre farm lying in the confluence of the Dove and Churnet valleys. We welcome you to stay in our Grade II listed Jacobean farmhouse.

Our rambling country farmhouse built mainly between 1580 and 1708 offers a glimpse into days gone by with it's oak paneled dining room and antique furniture.

The bedrooms, 3 have four poster beds and 1 has a Half Tester Bed.Two bedrooms are ensuite with bath and two are ensuite with shower all have beautiful views over the large and extensive terraced gardens or the dramatic Weaver Hills.

Open log fires in both sitting and dining rooms add to that fabulous old world charm.
A quite unique house for the discerning guest who expects that little bit extra.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our breakfasts. No short measures here, just quality home cooking,with Bacon and Sausage from our own pigs and eggs from our rescue hens

Keeper's Cottage - sleeps 4
Nestling in the peaceful backwaters of Prestwood (total population less than 30), with dramatic views of the Weaver Hills, this 18th century cottage has recently been renovated in a way that attempts to avoid the pitfalls that affect most conversions.

If you're looking for double glazing,and chipboard doors- don't come here!

If you prefer oak panelling, exposed stone walls, genuine oak and pine doors, oak windows, antique furniture and even an original four poster bed, then this is the place for you.

Ground floor accommodation includes an entrance hall, kitchen, living room and oak panelled bedroom with four poster bed and adjacent shower/W.C room.

The upper level is reached by a small twisting stone stairway leading to a twin/double bedroom with en-suite bathroom.

The cottage, while retaining its old world charm, is fitted with a range of modern appliances one would expect in accommodation of this quality.

The recently laid out garden, with a patio, offers space for barbeques or just relaxing.

Parking is outside the property at the end of your private drive.

A car is essential due to the isolated location of the property.

The cottage is suitable for couples or family holidays, with Alton Towers just 3 miles away, Dovedale a mere 8 miles and the stately homes of Chatsworth, Haddon and Sudbury all within easy reach.

Village shops are available in Ellastone and Denstone, (one mile).

Rocester village has a newsagent and a small late opening supermarket. The market town of Ashbourne is six miles away and has quality stores and many antique shops in which we are personally involved.
