Honeypot Cottage is located in Litton, in the centre of the Peak District National Park.
Litton is a very picturesque village in the White Peak has its own community run shop with Post Office. The cottage is 100 yards from the Red Lion pub, which serves excellent food. Litton is 2 miles from the "Cathedral of the Peaks" and the shops of Tideswell and is 10 miles from the Opera House, Waitrose and Morrisons supermarkets in Buxton.
Honeypot Cottage is a beautifully appointed, converted, detached 19th Century stone barn standing in 4 acres of meadowland that has been in the same family ownership for more than 100 years.
Accommodation details
The 25ft square downstairs area is beamed and is laid out to accommodate a comfortable lounge area with TV and log burner, a fully-fitted and equipped kitchen area and dining area with oak dining table and chairs.
The dining area has French windows, which open into the rear courtyard and our fields beyond, onto which the cottage backs.
Upstairs the bedroom is fitted with twin beds and the smart, bright en-suite bathroom has an electric shower
Honeypot Cottage is double-glazed throughout and the log burner in the lounge is supplemented by night storage heaters.

Location
The cottage makes an ideal base for some of the finest walking and cycling this beautiful part of the country has to offer and is very handy for some of the UK's finest great houses. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Bakewell and Lyme Park are all within a 30 minute drive. Litton is also very handily placed on the border between the dramatic austerity of the gritstone uplands to the north and the softer limestone beauty of the White Peak to the south. So whether its an invigorating walk along the exposed uplands of Froggatt and Stanage Edges, a yomp around the peat groughs of Kinder Scout or a gentle amble along the outstanding beauty of Dovedale you'll find that Honeypot Cottage puts you within easy reach of them all.
