Billys Bothy is one of our two five star luxury self catering cottages, sleeping from 10 to 16 guests. Luxury bed and Breakfast is also available, please enquire for details. A beautiful, historic, red brick country cottage surrounded by 10 acres of private gardens and pastureland located within the grounds of Offcote Grange. Surrounded by nature it is the perfect place to relax and unwind with friends or family. Just a 5 minute drive or 30 minute walk takes you into the pretty market town of Ashbourne or to the village of Kniveton with its country pub with some excellent restaurants. Alternatively we can arrange for quality catering at the cottage, we can also offer you the enjoyment of a relaxing pampering session. Just ask and we will do out best to accommodate your needs.

There are some lovely walks from the doorstep and we are just 4 miles from Carsington Water which offers cycle hire, walks and other leisure facilities. Edging the Peak District National Park it is the perfect central location to explore all that Derbyshire has to offer.

Prices
From £1550 to £2050 per week. Short breaks taken all year. We are sorry but we are no smoking and no pets.

Details on Billys Bothy
This picturesque cottage is a former farm building and is built of red brick with pretty arched windows. Revealed brick walls, beamed ceilings and oak boarded floors give character to this lovely cottage.

As you approach the Bothy you will love the setting surrounded by pastureland peacefully grazed by livestock. Enjoy the private patio and garden area, relax and enjoy the lovely views. There is ample off road parking for our visitors.

When entering the cottage you will notice a cosy peaceful feeling, light and airy yet warm and welcoming, full of character. The separate lounge and dining rooms are delightful, comfortable and furnished in antique pine furniture to a high standard. The large lounge has a feature truss across the room , cosy wood burning stove and a feature oak and glass gable gives lovely views and access onto the patio and orchard.

The lovely galleried kitchen overlooks the feature entrance hall, units are in hand made pine with marble worktops and the kitchen extremely well equipped.

There 5 bedrooms that can sleep up to 14 guests with an option of a 6th bedroom at extra cost giving a possible sleeping capacity of 16. All bedrooms are en suite and all have WIFI and LCD TV’s.
All rooms are fitted and furnished to a high standard with all you could possibly need to make your visit as stress free and relaxing as possible.

Billys Bothy has Wi Fi, projector and whiteboard for use at small private corporate events- please ask for more details.

All linen, towels, tea towels electricity, full oil central heating, logs, soaps, cleaning materials , condiments. Wi Fi is also provided. There are walking books, maps, reading books provided.

Extras
The 6th Bedroom is at an extra cost of £50 per night.

Our sauna is available at a nominal cost of £2.50 per person per session minimum 2 people. Please give 45 notice for this facility.

We have a cinema projector that can be used if available. Children must be supervised at all times with an adult.

Meals by arrangement, Pampering by arrangement, Bed and Breakfast available.

Activities
Within 8 miles of both cottages there is cycle hire and water activities, archery, clay pigeon shooting, karting, quad bikes, paintballing, fishing, pony trekking, hot air ballooning, tennis, golfing, and not to be missed walking the many beautiful Derbyshire Dales. Ice skating at Nottingham- 28 miles, Roller skating at Derby 12 miles.

Places to Visit
Within 30 minutes drive - Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Sudbury Hall, Kedleston Hall. Crich Tramway Museum, Midland Steam Railway Museum, Belper Mill, Gullivers Kingdom, Heights of Abraham, Matlock Bath, Wirksworth Mining Museum, Denby Pottery and Visitor Centre. Bakewell and Matlock and the lovely village of Tissington. The well dressings around the villages throughout spring and summer are a must to visit.

Within 40 minutes drive - Alton Towers premier theme park, Water World- indoor water park, Castleton Caves, Ladybower Reservoir, Bolsover castle, Chesterfield, Tutbury Castle, Buxton and the historic Opera House........and much, much more.
