Accommodation details

This recently restored detached house on three levels, is located at the head of the Cordwell Valley in the delightful rural hamlet of Moor Hall and is accessed down a short country lane from where you can enjoy some outstanding panoramic views of the surrounding countryside with walks from the doorstep.

A short drive takes you to Baslow (on the edge of the Chatsworth estate) that has some excellent facilities and good transport links to Chesterfield with its mainline rail services and the nearby M1 motorway. The famous Peak District National Park is within a few minutes drive.

HOUSE DETAILS  - sleeps 15 in 7 bedrooms - sorry no pets.

The house is entered into the main entrance dining hall that has a log burning stove and double doors opening onto the rear patio and garden area.

To the left is the fully equipped kitchen that has all the essentials required for the stay including an occasional dining table and double doors leading to the patio and garden area.

Off the main hall a door leads to the very spacious ‘L’ shaped beamed lounge that has a welcoming gas fire inset into a large fireplace; this room also has double doors that lead to the patio and garden area.

A door to the rear leads to the staircase hall that has a ground floor cloakroom with toilet and hand basin and a door that leads to a ground floor bedroom that has two single beds.

A second door from this room leads to the main hall.

The stairs lead to the four first floor bedrooms, the master bedroom suite has a king size bed and its own en suite bathroom with bath, toilet and hand basin and there are double doors opening out to the balcony with views of the area.

There are two further bedrooms, both with double beds and en suite shower rooms, both with toilet and hand basins, and the fourth bedroom on this floor has two single beds.

There is also a large bathroom on this floor that has a bath with shower over, toilet and hand basin.

A further flight of stairs leads to the eaves of the house and two further large bedrooms, one has a king size bed and the other has three single beds.

There is also an occasional fold up bed that can be put up in most of the bedrooms.

Substantial private grounds surround the property which opens further to woodlands and fields beyond.
